Introduction and Tendency of CPE

Chlorinated polyethylene(CPE) is a polymer material obtained by high-density polyethylene (HDPE) by chlorination substitution reaction. Depending on the structure and usage,CPE can be divided into resin chlorinated polyethylene (CPE) and elastomeric chlorinated polyethylene (CM).

With the domestic demand(China) of Chlorinated polyethylene for high-performance flame retardant rubber in the late 1990s growing, especially the development of the wire and cable industry and auto parts industry driving the demand for rubber-type CPE . Rubber type CPE is a special synthetic rubber with excellent comprehensive performance, heat-resistant oxygen ozone aging and good flame retardance.

CPE needs to be highly dispersed by a high-dispersion mixer, so it takes a long time to mix the rubber compound. The kneading machine can't reach the dispersion requirement of high filler with reducing the cost, therefore, the application of the internal mixer in silica gel is also a matter of course.

What the mixer can't do is vacuuming, so there is no solution on liquid silicone.
