2. Working principle

The working principle of the three-roll calender is to use the mutual movement between the rollers to calender the metal material into the desired shape and size. Specific steps are as follows:

(1) Adjust the roller position. According to the desired calendered shape and size, adjust the position of the upper roll and side roll to ensure that the metal material can pass through the roll smoothly.

(2) Place metal materials. Put the metal material to be rolled on the lower roller, and adjust the height of the lower roller with the hand wheel to ensure that the contact area between the metal material and the upper roller and side roller is as large as possible.

(3) Start calendering. Start the motor so the rollers start spinning. When the metal material is clamped by the roller, the roller starts to roll down, and at the same time, the upper roller and side roller also move inward to ensure the smooth passage of the metal material.

(4) Adjust the roller position. During the calendering process, it is necessary to constantly adjust the positions of the upper roll and the side rolls to ensure that the metal material can pass through the rolls smoothly and achieve the desired shape and size.

(5) End calendering. When the metal material passes through the rollers, the motor is turned off, and the rolled metal material is taken out.
