How to Use the Air Isolation Kneader?

2023-06-27

The main feature of the Air Isolated Kneader is the introduction of an air-flow isolation system. By generating air-flow isolation inside the mixing chamber, it avoids the contact between the material and the external environment, and prevents the material from being polluted or oxidized. This isolation design helps to maintain the stability of the mixing process and the quality of the product. The equipment includes a sealed mixing chamber for containing the material to be mixed. Inside the chamber are usually two rotating mixing blades or screws.

Inside the mixing chamber, a sealed environment is formed by introducing an airflow isolation system. This system can isolate the material in the mixing chamber from the outside world through the flow of air. Air-isolated kneaders are widely used in the fields of rubber and plastic processing. It can be used in the manufacture of rubber products (such as tires, seals, rubber tubes, etc.), plastic products (such as pipes, sheets, molded parts, etc.), as well as mixing and reaction processes in the chemical industry.

When using an Dispersion Kneader, you usually need to follow the steps below:
1. Preparations
Ensure that the working environment of the air isolation kneader is clean and tidy, and check whether the functions of the equipment are normal. Confirm that the required ingredients and formula are ready, and prepare the necessary safety equipment.

2. Power on and warm up
Turn on the power of the air-isolated kneader and preheat it according to the operating manual provided by the manufacturer. Preheat times and temperatures will vary based on specific material and process requirements.

3. Material feeding
Open the feed port of the mixing chamber, and put the materials to be mixed into the chamber. Ensure that the feeding is uniform and does not exceed the rated capacity of the equipment.

4. Setting parameters
According to the required mixing process and product requirements, set the parameters of the air isolation kneader. These parameters may include temperature, rotation speed, mixing time, etc. Make sure to make the correct settings according to the material and process requirements.

5. Start mixing

The feed port of the mixing chamber is closed and the rotation of the mixing blade or screw is started. Observe the material state and temperature during the mixing process, and make necessary adjustments as needed.

6. Monitoring process
During the mixing process, pay close attention to the operation status of the equipment and the mixing effect. Regularly check indicators such as material temperature, uniformity and color changes in the mixing chamber to ensure desired quality and performance.

7. Stop mixing

After the mixing is completed, the rotation of the mixing blade or screw is stopped, and the discharge port of the chamber is opened. Take out or discharge the mixed material.
